Who we are
Partners In Property is a trading name of SW Partners In Property Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16034150. Registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. ICO registration ZC023098. We’re responsible for your personal data, and the contact for it is Sara Cromie at sara.cromie@sw-pip.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect the details you give us, and the details we gather while working with you. Your name, email address, phone number, company, location, and records of our conversations and meetings. If you have contacted us about selling a property, that includes the details of the property and its circumstances. If you have contacted us about lending, that includes your investment interests. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we also record whether you open and click our emails.
Where we get it
Most of it comes from you, when you fill in a form, send us an email, or talk to us.
Some of it doesn’t, and we’d rather tell you than let you find out. If you comment on one of our posts on LinkedIn, your name and what you wrote come into our contact records, so we can reply and keep track of a conversation that started in public. And if you’re connected to one of our team on LinkedIn, the details the platform shows us are copied into those same records: your name, your employer, your role, your profile address, and sometimes an email address.
LinkedIn is the only place we do this today. If we ever start doing it on another network, this page will name it before we do, not after.
We don’t market to anybody whose details arrived that way. Connecting with one of us on any platform isn’t agreeing to hear from us. Those contacts are recorded in our system as not having agreed, and they’re left out of the newsletter and everything else we send. Nobody hears from us until they have said they want to, and saying so means answering a question you could just as easily answer the other way.
Our basis for holding it is our legitimate interest in keeping track of the people we know professionally. You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it, and your rights below says how.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiries, and to talk to you about buying your property or about lending. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running our business, or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
- To send you Deal Shaping with Sara and other updates. Our basis is your consent, or for existing contacts, our legitimate interest in keeping you informed about similar matters. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering checks before any money changes hands.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process your data on our behalf and only on our instructions. Our main customer database is provided by HighLevel Inc., based in the United States. We run on Microsoft 365, which holds our email, our calls and messages, and our files, including the spreadsheets our accounts are kept in. We also use Granola for meeting notes, Claude (Anthropic) as an AI assistant, and Notion for our internal records.
We never sell your data.
International transfers
Some of our providers, including HighLevel, store your data in the United States. Our transfers to HighLevel are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and you can ask us for a copy. Where we use a provider that is not covered in that way, we do not put your personal data into it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while we have an active relationship with you, and no longer than we need to. Where the law sets a period, for example records of a completed transaction, we keep them for that period. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email sara.cromie@sw-pip.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please talk to us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
